Clinton Heights Fire Department protects a fire district in the Town of East Greenbush and has a district of approximately 3.5 square miles with an estimated 10,000 residents, employees and visitors.
We currently have over 50 active members that make up 2 stations; Bruen Hose Company (Station 1) which houses the Truck Company and Rescue Company and Community Hose Company (Station 2), which houses the department’s three Engine Companies. Our district also includes numerous businesses including SUNY Albany East Campus, Albany Molecular, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Fuji Film, Computer Science Corporation, Mabey’s Moving & Storage, and many other local establishments.
Our Mission
It is the mission of the Clinton Heights Fire Department to be dedicated to the quality of life of the community through the protection and preservation of life, property, and the environment. This is accomplished by providing injury prevention, safety education, and emergency and support services while seeking and utilizing new technologies to meet the dynamic needs of our customers and by providing support and training to the members within our organization.
